Suluada sits about 6 kilometers off the coast near Adrasan, and reaching it requires a boat — which is exactly why it looks the way it does. White sand beaches, water that shifts between blue and green depending on the depth, and a coastline of sheltered bays with no development in sight. The island is sometimes called Turkey’s Maldives, though the comparison undersells the Mediterranean character of the place.
This tour picks you up early from your Antalya-area hotel and drives you to Adrasan Harbor, a small coastal village south of Kemer. From there, the boat heads out along the coast with swimming stops in secluded bays before arriving at Suluada. You’ll spend extended time at the island — swimming from the boat, wading on the white sand beaches, floating in water clear enough to count the pebbles on the bottom. Lunch is served on board.
The afternoon adds more swimming stops on the return route. You’re back at your hotel by early evening.
Early pickup from your Antalya or Kemer area hotel. Drive south to Adrasan Harbor — about 1.5 hours through the Taurus Mountain foothills, with views of the coast opening up as you descend.
Board the boat at Adrasan Harbor. The route follows the coast south before heading offshore toward Suluada. Along the way, the boat stops in sheltered bays where the water is calm and clear — your first swimming opportunities of the day.
The main destination. Suluada’s coastline is defined by small bays, each with a different character — some with white sand, some with pebble, all with the same clarity of water. The boat anchors in a protected bay, and you swim, wade, or simply float. The colors here are vivid — turquoise shallows giving way to deep Mediterranean blue.
You’ll spend the longest stretch of the day here, with time to explore different parts of the island’s shoreline from the boat.
Turkish lunch served on the boat while anchored at Suluada. Grilled dishes, salads, seasonal fruit.
The return route includes additional bay stops along the coast. The captain selects the best spots based on conditions — wind direction, current, and where the water is calmest.
The boat returns to Adrasan Harbor. Transfer back to your hotel in the Antalya/Kemer area.
This tour works well for:
About 90 minutes by road. The drive passes through the Taurus Mountains and is scenic in its own right. The early pickup ensures you maximize time on the water.
Suluada trips use mid-sized boats — not mega-cruisers. The bay stops are spacious, and the island itself has multiple anchorage points. For a private charter, contact us and we’ll arrange it.
You can wade to the beach in shallow areas and walk along the shoreline. The interior of the island is rocky and largely inaccessible. The experience is primarily water-based — swimming, wading, floating.
Swimsuit, towel, sunscreen (high SPF — reflected light off the water intensifies exposure), sunglasses, hat, and water shoes for rocky entries. A waterproof phone case is worth bringing.
June through September for the warmest water and calmest seas. May and October are possible but cooler. The trip is weather-dependent — if sea conditions are unsuitable, the tour may be rescheduled.
